Sassy Colors Magnetic Nail Polish Collection Swatches and Review

Hey Ladies!
Happy Tuesday! whoa.. it's been a while..again.. i know i'm always MIA and i'm sorry my lovely readers... i'm really having a hard time right now when it comes to time management (i have a full time job + a sideline).. Anyways.. enough of my personal life.. off to the polish... so here's what i got for you gals today..

Sassy Colors Magnetic Nail Polish Collection

An unexpected package is waiting for me when i arrived at home from work last Thursday..
It's a gift from sassy colors, their newest offering.. Sassy Magnetic Nail Polish..
They sent me 3 magnetic nail polish plus a horizontal nail art magnet.. love love love.. :)
now off to the swatches...

First up is Sassy Colors Temptress it's an awesome frosted magenta polish filled with scattered purple and pink micro shimmer. On my nails are two medium coats.

Here, instead of applying regular/fast drying top coat, i decided to use my matte top coat for a change..

Next up is Sassy Colors Allure. It's a deep emerald green nail polish filled with scattered green and gold micro shimmer. On my nails are two medium coats.

Mattified...

Last but not the least, this is actually my favorite from this bunch that i received, is Sassy Colors Charmed, it's a Sapphire polish filled with scattered gold shimmer. On my nails are two medium coats.

Mattified..

That's It! So what do you gals think about this another magnetic nail polish collection from another local brand?

The formula of the three nail polish is quite on the runny side but still, application went well, and the pigmentation is really awesome, i can go with just one thick coat, i just used 2 medium coats for swatching.
Another thing is that Sassy Colors is a 4FREE nail polish (DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin free).

By the way, for those who are asking, about application, same rules apply to this collection, you just have to be fast, after applying the polish on your nails, immediately hold the magnet over your nail for about 10 seconds to see the design.

Sassy Colors Magnetic Nail Polish Collection is available in 12 different colors and a choice of 3 magnet designs (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) it retails at Php79.75 (set) includes one 12ml nail polish and nail art magnet.. and Php49.75 for a 12ml polish only, that's one thing that i love about this collection, you can actually buy a nail polish alone if you already have a nail art magnet, you won't be forced to buy the same magnet design that you already have. ;)

One last thing, hope they'll have more different magnet designs (aside from the lines)...

Hope you gals liked the post for today.

Till Next Time!

Bobbie The Wonder Nails Swatches & Review

Hey Gals!
Happy Thursday! So, due to insistent nail polish lovers demand, i'm now bringing you gals the swatches and review of Bobbies' newest offering The Wonder Nails, whoa, another first from Chic Center Corp. (i love them for having lot's of first when it comes to nail polish, remember the Chic Sandy Collection?') and now, enough of my intro, off to the polishes..

Here let me show this to you first, it's a flyer of The Wonder Nails that i got from the 5th Phil-cosmetics expo... (front)

(back) as you can see, printed on the back side are the instructions of how you can make The Wonder Nails work.
It's some kind of a magic nail polish.. hehehe... the color becomes darker when a clear nail polish or top coat is used to draw some designs on top of it, you can use a stripper brush or a dotting tool or simply just the brush of your clear polish.. It comes in three (3) colors; Oh My Green!, Blue Wow, and Pink Magic. Now let me show you some swatches..

First up is Bobbie The Wonder Nails Oh My Green!..
On my nails is one medium coat of Oh My Green!, it's oh soo pigmented. Oh my green! is a light dusty aqua green.

And here's what it looks like after i draw some dots using my dotting tool and clear polish.
The french accent on my ring finger is an added bonus! ;)

Next up is Bobbie the Wonder Nails Oh my blue..
On my nails is another one medium coat, very pigmented like oh my green, it's a dusty baby blue polish.

What it looks like after i did some diagonal french design with my clear nail polish.

and last but not the least, Bobbie The Wonder Nails Pink Magic..
IRL pink magic is a dusty light rose pink nail polish, on my nails is another one medium coat.
This is my ultimate favorite from the wonder nails collection.

I decided to draw small hearts and dots using my clear polish and dotting tool.. here's the finished product..

And that's all of the pics..

Bobbie The Wonder Nails is a great collection, the formula is a bit on the thick side, but application is a breeze, another thing about this polish collection that i love is the pigmentation, i can go with just one medium coat. Now, my concerns, i can't tell if the three polishes are chromes or frosted (i think it's a hybrid). Another thing is that i wish there were more colors, the first time i tried this collection, i wanted a purple and yellow one, what do you gals think?' All in all this nail polish collection is amazing and it's the first of it's kind here in the Philippines, (not sure if they have something like this overseas) Bobbie never cease to create very unique and lovable nail polish collection. Don't forget to add them on Facebook

Bobbie The Wonder Nails is a Big3 Free Nail Polish Collection, meaning it doesn't contain any DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde. It will be available very soon in leading department stores near you. ;)
One last thing about the retail price, i'm still not sure if it will be retailing for Php54.75 or Php59.75 just like the Smashed Collection.

Don't forget to tell me what you think.
That's it!

Till Next Time!

The 5th Phil-Cosmetics Expo Experience

*warning; pic heavy*
Hey Everyone!
Happy Thursday! So, it's been a while (ugh again..) since i last posted something here... anyway, here's what i have for you gals from the phil-cosmetics expo that was held last august 31- september 2, 2012. Oh by the way, please excuse the blurry pictures, i only have my old digital camera in my bag the day i visited the expo.

So Here we go..

I was at the expo last Sept 1, 2012, (it was the second day, Saturday at around 3pm)
It was also the day of the Nail Art Competition sponsored by Chic Centre Corp. (makers of Bobbie) and Tutti Fruity (if i'm not mistaken) the competitors had 1 hour and 30mins. to finish their designs.
There are two categories for the contest; Your Hearts Desire
Here are some pics that i got when the competition started..

Here are some pics from the awarding.. i wasn't able to take photos of the nail designs.. (sorry ;( )

Now off to the booths.. I was actually a bit disappointed at the said expo because the number of participants is quite small plus, not all of them are cosmetics related.
All in all there are only three (3) booths that i liked.

First up is the only Nail Polish Related booth in the expo, The booth of Chic Centre Corp, makers of Bobbie Nail Care products.
That's Ela from Chic Centre Corp. We had a little chat about their new products.. she's really nice.. :)

Here's Bobbies newest offering to nail polish lovers out there.. "The Wonder Nails"
I'll be doing a swatches and review post about these babies very soon so stay tuned..

Here are the actual bottles, it comes in three colors; Blue Wow, Oh My Green! and Pink Magic.

These are Chic 2way Design Nail art pen and brush...
It comes in five colors; Patent Blue, Gum(pink), Chili(red), Sunshine(yellow) and Moonlight(shimmery silver).

Next is the Second Wave of the Bobbie Smashed Collection, The Bobbie Metallic Smashed Collection.
It comes in five smashing colors; Smashing Blue, Smashing Pink, Smashing Green, Smashing Silver and Smashing Bronze.

Last but not the least is the Bobbie Stick-On Nail Polish and Bobbie Stick-On Metallic Nail Polish.
Both comes in five different designs. ;)

Everyone who dropped by at their booth are considered lucky because Chic offers 20% off on their products at the expo.

And here's a pic together with the awesome gals from Chic Centre Corp. before i left the expo.
I'm the second one from the left, who wears grey and my signature red headband. ;)

Next up is the booth of my favorite online shop, Digital Traincase (they always bring the latest collection of imported nail polish brands here in he philippines).. Their newest offering is the OPI Pink of Hearts and OPI So So Skullicious minis.

Last but not the least is Make Up Hub.. it's the first time that i saw this shop. they sell different kinds of imported make-up
The girl in the pic is Ms. Sarah, the owner of the shop, i was able to have a very short chit chat with her and her brother (i forgot to ask his name) who is very friendly.

I was attracted to check out their booth because they sell Models Own and Lime Crime Nail Polish.. :)
And that's it!
So, what do you think? Are you excited about the latest products from Chic Centre Corp.??
Tell me what you think thru your comments..

Till next time!
