Bobbie Metallic Smashed Collection: Swatches and Review
Hey Guys!
Happy Tuesday! I got another awesome collection from Bobbie for my lovely readers today, this collection is still part of the uber huge package that Ela of Chic Center Corp. (thank you soo much ;D ) gave me a month ago. Anyway, i won't make this intro long, off to the nail polish, here we go..
Bobbie Metallic Smashed Collection
So this is the second wave of smashed nail polishes from bobbie, (the first one is the regular smashed) i wonder if they are going to have a third wave, a glitter/textured smashed maybe? hehehe.. let's proceed to the swatches..
First up is Bobbie Smashing Pink (w/o topcoat)
Bobbie Smashing pink is a pink foil crackle.. looks so feminine, i layered it over 2 coats black and white nail polish so that you can see the difference between it being layered over a dark and a light colored base.
After topcoat.
Next up is Bobbie Smashing Bronze.. (w/o topcoat)
I was confused with this one, when it's in the bottle it looks bronze, but when applied it actually looks like a gold foil crackle.
After Topcoat..
Next we have Bobbie Smashing Green.. (w/o topcoat)
All i can say to this one is wow! hahaha.. smashing green is an Aqua Green foil crackle.. the color is really unique, and it's my ultimate fave from this collection.
After Topcoat
Next we have Bobbie Smashing Blue.. (w/o topcoat)
This one is a crackle version of one of my all time fave nail polish from Bobbie;Patent Blue, unlike the other members of the collection, smashing blue is a frosted true blue crackle. This baby is my second fave from this collection.
After Topcoat..
Last but not the least is Bobbie Smashing Silver.. (w/o topcoat)
This one is a Silver Foil crackle.
After Topcoat.

And, that's it!
Now my comments about this collection, i really had fun playing with these babies, the first three (3) polishes; Smashing Pink, Smashing Bronze and Smashing Green can be layered on either a dark or a light base color, while Smashing Blue is best layered over a light base and Smashing Silver, over a dark base color.
The formula of all the polishes are on the thick side, maybe because of their foil finish except for Smashing Blue which is a bit on the runny side, but i didn't had any problem whatsoever when i applied them, i use the dabbing method, so that it'll crack nicely.
The Bobbie Metallic Smashed Collection is now available in all leading department stores and drugstores nationwide, and retails for Php59.75.
Bobbie is a non-toxic nail polish, it's 4FREE meaning it does not contain DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde and Camphor.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading this post, feel free to tell me what you think thru your comments.
Till next time!

That's It! So what do you gals think about this another magnetic nail polish collection from another local brand?
The formula of the three nail polish is quite on the runny side but still, application went well, and the pigmentation is really awesome, i can go with just one thick coat, i just used 2 medium coats for swatching.
Another thing is that Sassy Colors is a 4FREE nail polish (DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin free).
By the way, for those who are asking, about application, same rules apply to this collection, you just have to be fast, after applying the polish on your nails, immediately hold the magnet over your nail for about 10 seconds to see the design.
Sassy Colors Magnetic Nail Polish Collection is available in 12 different colors and a choice of 3 magnet designs (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) it retails at Php79.75 (set) includes one 12ml nail polish and nail art magnet.. and Php49.75 for a 12ml polish only, that's one thing that i love about this collection, you can actually buy a nail polish alone if you already have a nail art magnet, you won't be forced to buy the same magnet design that you already have. ;)
One last thing, hope they'll have more different magnet designs (aside from the lines)...
Hope you gals liked the post for today.
Till Next Time!

Bobbie The Wonder Nails Swatches & Review
Hey Gals!
Happy Thursday! So, due to insistent nail polish lovers demand, i'm now bringing you gals the swatches and review of Bobbies' newest offering The Wonder Nails, whoa, another first from Chic Center Corp. (i love them for having lot's of first when it comes to nail polish, remember the Chic Sandy Collection?') and now, enough of my intro, off to the polishes..
Here let me show this to you first, it's a flyer of The Wonder Nails that i got from the 5th Phil-cosmetics expo... (front)
(back) as you can see, printed on the back side are the instructions of how you can make The Wonder Nails work.
It's some kind of a magic nail polish.. hehehe... the color becomes darker when a clear nail polish or top coat is used to draw some designs on top of it, you can use a stripper brush or a dotting tool or simply just the brush of your clear polish.. It comes in three (3) colors; Oh My Green!, Blue Wow, and Pink Magic. Now let me show you some swatches..
First up is Bobbie The Wonder Nails Oh My Green!..
On my nails is one medium coat of Oh My Green!, it's oh soo pigmented. Oh my green! is a light dusty aqua green.
And here's what it looks like after i draw some dots using my dotting tool and clear polish.
The french accent on my ring finger is an added bonus! ;)
What it looks like after i did some diagonal french design with my clear nail polish.
This is my ultimate favorite from the wonder nails collection.
I decided to draw small hearts and dots using my clear polish and dotting tool.. here's the finished product..
And that's all of the pics..
Bobbie The Wonder Nails is a great collection, the formula is a bit on the thick side, but application is a breeze, another thing about this polish collection that i love is the pigmentation, i can go with just one medium coat. Now, my concerns, i can't tell if the three polishes are chromes or frosted (i think it's a hybrid). Another thing is that i wish there were more colors, the first time i tried this collection, i wanted a purple and yellow one, what do you gals think?' All in all this nail polish collection is amazing and it's the first of it's kind here in the Philippines, (not sure if they have something like this overseas) Bobbie never cease to create very unique and lovable nail polish collection. Don't forget to add them on Facebook
Bobbie The Wonder Nails is a Big3 Free Nail Polish Collection, meaning it doesn't contain any DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde. It will be available very soon in leading department stores near you. ;)
One last thing about the retail price, i'm still not sure if it will be retailing for Php54.75 or Php59.75 just like the Smashed Collection.
Don't forget to tell me what you think.
That's it!
Till Next Time!
