Caronia Popsicle Collection: Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!

Happy Easter!! 2 Weeks ago, Caronia, launched their new collection for Summer, and that's what I have for you gals today, The Caronia Popsicle Collection Swatches and Review. :)

Starting to feel the heat of summer? Cool down with these refreshing shades from Caronia!

First up is Caronia Peach Perfect; Caronia described this baby as a nude shade with a slight hint of pink for a rosy look.
For me, it's more of a very pale peach-y creme polish. On my nails are 3 thin coats, formula is a bit thin and streaky but build-able with 3 coats, dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal.

 Next up is Caronia Lemon Cool; Caronia described this as a "happy yellow" shade with a slightly glossy finish.
IRL it's a very lovely Daffodil Yellow Creme filled with a very subtle amount of Gold Micro shimmer. On my nails are 2 medium coats, the formula is perfect, not too thick nor too thin, dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal.

 Now we're at the exciting part, third polish from the collection is Caronia Brain Freeze; Caronia described this as a pale blue shade in matte finish that just draws attention to your fingertips.
It's a Deep Sky Blue that dries to a Satin Matte Finish, on my nails are 2 thin coats, the formula is very good (usually mattes are super hard to work with but this one is different) and it dries faster than normal.

 Last but not the least is Caronia Tequila Sunrise; it is described by Caronia as a subdued red orange.
It is a Deep Salmon that dries to a Satin Matte Finish, on my nails are 2 thin coats, same awesome formula with brain breeze, dries faster than normal.

And.. that's it!
Here are my final thoughts about the Caronia Popsicle Collection:
The collection is almost perfect! the creme and shimmer are definitely a hit for those office girls like me who loves to wear subtle shades to work, It'll be more awesome if the shimmer in lemon cool is more noticeable though. And the mattes, they are so easy to work with, usually mattes are hard to apply because the dry so fast, but the formula of Brain Freeze and Tequila Sunrise is simply amazing, Caronia definitely stepped up their game. Let's hope they release more colors and more different finishes (like flakies ehem! and ehem, holos!) soon ;)

Oh one last thing, Caronia will be releasing a limited number of Popsicle Collection set with free Caronia sticky note pad, so if you're planning to buy the whole collection, better watch out for that set. ;)

Popsicle Nail Art

Hey guys!!

TGIF! Last thursday I attended a Summer Collection Launch Party of a well known local nail polish brand, and the party's theme was Popsicles and Sweets, what I have for you guys today is the Nail Art that I wore to that Launch Party, My Popsicle Nail Art.

The nail art design was actually a last minute idea, I was suppose to sport a Lollipops and Candies nail art, but I realized that I did that design several times last year so I ended up doing Pastel Popsicles on my nails.

Here's what my Gradient base looked like before I added the popsicles and dots.

Polishes that I used for this mani are the ff;
Girl Stuff Sophia (nude)
Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet (mint green)
QT Gotta Go (Teal)
Sally Hansen Insta Dry (dots)
and for the rest, I used acrylic paints.

Here's one last pic

And that's it for today!
Hope you guys liked it!

'till next time!

Bright Floral Nail Art

Hey everyone!

Happy Wednesday!
Recently, I've been playing with summer colors, I was swatching some of my new polishes earlier, and after applying a color that really caught my attention, I want to wear the color for work and decided to add a simple art over it, I ended up adding some flowers, so... this is another Floral Nail Art. ;)

Instead of doing my usual 5 petal flowers, I tried something different this time, the finish product looked a lot like poppies.

Photo below is a swatch of the base polish that I used for the mani, 2 coats of QT Gotta Go a gorgeous bright teal creme.

Other polishes the I used for the nail art are;
Revlon Parfumerie China Flower (red)
Chic Ji-hye (purple)
El-Corazon Active Bio-Gel (green leaves)
and some acrylic paint (brown, black and white).

Here's one last pic;

That's it for today!
Hope you guys liked it!

My First Ever Splatter Nail Art

Hey guys!

Happy Monday! It's been a while since my last post, I had a hard time importing my photos from my camera to my computer, my Instagram account is always updated though, so you can follow me there to see my latest nail art and swatches, my handle is @wownails0816 also there's a link on the right that you can check ;) So what I have for you today is my current Nail Art, it's My First Ever Splatter Nail Art.

I've wanted to try this technique ever since I saw it on the internet, finally! I did it! I really enjoyed doing this mani, the process is a tad messy and polish consuming though.

Photo below is a swatch of the base polish that I used for this nail art; it's Chic Mi-cha from their new K-pop Collection, a super pretty soft pink crelly, dries to a super shiny (and oh so squishy) finish.

Other polishes that I used for this nail art are;
Caronia Chasse (cobalt blue)
and Chic Ji-hye (purple)

Here's one last pic:

And that's it for today!
Hope you guys liked it!
