Born Pretty 4cm XL Clear Marshmallow Silicone Jelly Stamper with Cap & Scraper Review

Hi guys!

Happy Wednesday!

What I've got for you today is my review of a Jumbo Clear Stamper and Scraper set from the Born Pretty Store.

Here's what the set looks like, aside from the jumbo clear stamper, it also comes with a cap, and a scraper.

This stamper is super easy to use, you don't have to prime it for it to work, you just have to roll the head over the sticky side of a piece of tape or over a lint remover to remove the dirt and tadaaa! you're ready to stamp!

Here's what it looks like after I picked up an image from a plate, really impressive, it picked up the image really well.

Here's what it looks like upside down.

Here's a photo of my finished mani, I used the jumbo stamper to stamp the image on my nails.

Complete Product Details : 2Pcs/set 4cm XL Clear Marshmallow Silicone Jelly Stamper with Cap, Nail Art Stamper and Scraper
Product Code: #26498
available at: www.bornprettystore.com

What are my final thoughts about the set? It's really great, it's huge which is perfect for plates with large images, it also great for reverse stamping, best part is it's clear, perfect for when your doing double stamping. This is definitely my current favorite stamper!

If you're interested to try this awesome stamper, you can go to www.bornprettystore.com you can also use my code MWN10K31 to get a discount on your order.

And that's it! hope you guys liked it!

My first Ever Radial Gradient Nail Art

Hey guys!

I was quite busy earlier, but quite lucky too, because I'm able to do a quick nail art post for you guys right now. ;)

What I have for you today is my First Ever Radial Gradient Nail Art. I've been seeing alot of radial gradients on IG these past few months, and that made me want to try the technique myself.

I used 4 polishes (aside from the top coat that I used to smooth everything out) for this mani, all of 'em are QT Polishes, the bottle that I'm holding is QT Dream Girl, ah.. the name of the polish makes me wanna sing the chorus of Shinee's Dream Girl Hehe.. (shout out to my fellow k-pop fans out there!). Other polishes that I used are;
QT Wish
QT Gotta Go and
QT BFF.

This is one of the easiest nail art technique that I've tried (second to dotting), same process with the normal ombre technique, you just apply the polish on the sponge in radial form instead of parallel, then dab away! it can be quite messy though, if you don't own any kind of cuticle shield, liquid palasade etc.. in my case, good thing my younger sister always keeps a bottle of white elmers glue in her art supplies stash (hooray for artsy little sisters!) and that's what I used to prevent the messy aftermath of this nail art.

I'm okay with the finish product, but not super satisfied, there are some part where the colors did not blended well.. it's my first try anyway so I'm hoping that my next radial gradient mani will be more awesome than this one! Should I try a pink mix next time? hehe.

UPDATED QT NAIL MAGIC COLLECTION COMPLETE SWATCHES and REVIEW

Hey guys!

Happy Sunday!
What I have for you today is some sort of a continuation of the QT Nail Magic Collection Swatches and Review that I posted last April. Back then, QT's Nail Magic Collection was only a trio of foil polishes ( Cosmic Sand, Angel Dust, and Callisto), the trio was such a hit that Weens Cosmetics decided to add 5  more colors to the said collection, thus the Complete QT Nail Magic Collection was officially launched.

QT's Nail Magic Collection was launched last May 13, 2016, I will be writing a separate story about the launch party on my other blog crazylittlethingsilove.blogspot.com, so watch out for that, for now let's go to the swatches and my review of the collection. ;)

First up is QT Nail Magic Galactica a very stunning Aqua foil, on my nails are two medium coats, no top coat, formula is really good, not too thick nor too thin, drying time is normal, dries to a glossy foil finish.

Next up is QT Nail Magic Moonstone a lovely Denim Blue foil. On my nails are two(2) medium coats, no top coat. same formula with galactica, drying time is normal, dries to a glossy foil finish.

Third polish from the collection is QT Nail Magic Kaleidoscope a Dusty, Blue-ish Purple foil. On my nails are two (2) medium coats, no top coat, great formula, not too thick nor too thin, drying time is normal and it dries to a glossy foil finish.

Fourth polish from the collection is QT Nail Magic Voyager an elegant Emerald foil. On my nails are three (3) thin coats, no top coat, awesome formula, drying time is normal, and dries to a glossy foil finish.

Last but not the least is QT Nail Magic Red Star a cute Pinky Red foil. On my nails are two (2) medium coats, no top coat, same formula with the first 4 polishes, very easy to apply, drying time is normal, dries to a glossy foil finish.

And of course even though I already reviewed these three polishes, I re-swatched them for you guys! ;)

QT Nail Magic Cosmic Sand a very sparkly Champagne Silver foil.

QT Nail Magic Callisto an elegant Bronze-y Gold foil, perfect for working girls!

And QT Nail Magic Angel Dust a stunning Grey Silver foil.

And that's all of 'em!

Here are my final thoughts about the QT Nail Magic Collection, I was ecstatic when I saw the additional 5 new colors, ( who doesn't love jewel colors? ). Based on my past experiences with foil polishes, they're very easy to work with but their formula are usually on the thick side, and what makes QT's Nail Magic Collection different from them is the amazing formula, not too thick nor too thin, just the right consistency, super easy to work with.
My ultimate fave from the collection is still Cosmic Sand, though Voyager is a close second, oh! I also liked Moondust because of it's denim like appearance.

QT Nail Color is a 5 Free Nail Polish Brand meaning it doesn't have any DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Camphor, and Formaldehyde Resin. It's also Cruelty Free and it doesn't stain the nails, also safe for kids and expectant moms.

Colorful Swirls Nail Art

Hey Guys!

TGIF! This will be very quick, I just want to share to you my NOTD, if you can remember, last Feb, I tried doing some stamping decals, and I got hooked so today, I did another nail art using that technique.

Here's my Colorful Swirls Nail Art

What I actually planned to do over my sparkly base was to draw some cute pastel roses, but I saw some stamping plates and lots of pretty jewel colored polishes, so I ended up doing another Stamping Decal Nail Art.
It was a really exhausting technique TBH, but it was worth it!

The Products that I used for this Mani are all from QT Nail Color, except from the Stamping plate which is from Born Pretty Store.
Base is QT Nail Magic Cosmic Sand.
for the swirls; Yellow- QT Cosmic Gold, Green- QT Moss Green, Pink- 18k Gold, and Aqua- QT Intense Green
TC is QT 3in1 Colorless and I also used QT Polish Dry, Quick Dry Drops.
Stamping Plate is BPL-027

And that's it for today! Hope you guys liked it. ;)

Caronia Popsicle Collection: Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!

Happy Easter!! 2 Weeks ago, Caronia, launched their new collection for Summer, and that's what I have for you gals today, The Caronia Popsicle Collection Swatches and Review. :)

Starting to feel the heat of summer? Cool down with these refreshing shades from Caronia!

First up is Caronia Peach Perfect; Caronia described this baby as a nude shade with a slight hint of pink for a rosy look.
For me, it's more of a very pale peach-y creme polish. On my nails are 3 thin coats, formula is a bit thin and streaky but build-able with 3 coats, dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal.
Here are pics of Peach Perfect

Next up is Caronia Lemon Cool; Caronia described this as a "happy yellow" shade with a slightly glossy finish.
IRL it's a very lovely Daffodil Yellow Creme filled with a very subtle amount of Gold Micro shimmer. On my nails are 2 medium coats, the formula is perfect, not too thick nor too thin, dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal.
Here are some snaps of Lemon Cool:

Now we're at the exciting part, third polish from the collection is Caronia Brain Freeze; Caronia described this as a pale blue shade in matte finish that just draws attention to your fingertips.
It's a Deep Sky Blue that dries to a Satin Matte Finish, on my nails are 2 thin coats, the formula is very good (usually mattes are super hard to work with but this one is different) and it dries faster than normal.
Here are some pics of Brain Freeze:

Last but not the least is Caronia Tequila Sunrise; it is described by Caronia as a subdued red orange.
It is a Deep Salmon that dries to a Satin Matte Finish, on my nails are 2 thin coats, same awesome formula with brain breeze, dries faster than normal.
Here are some photos:
Under Natural Light

And.. that's it!
Here are my final thoughts about the Caronia Popsicle Collection:
The collection is almost perfect! the creme and shimmer are definitely a hit for those office girls like me who loves to wear subtle shades to work, It'll be more awesome if the shimmer in lemon cool is more noticeable though. And the mattes, they are so easy to work with, usually mattes are hard to apply because the dry so fast, but the formula of Brain Freeze and Tequila Sunrise is simply amazing, Caronia definitely stepped up their game. Let's hope they release more colors and more different finishes (like flakies ehem! and ehem, holos!) soon ;)

Oh one last thing, Caronia will be releasing a limited number of Popsicle Collection set with free Caronia sticky note pad, so if you're planning to buy the whole collection, better watch out for that set. ;)

Popsicle Nail Art

Hey guys!!

TGIF! Last thursday I attended a Summer Collection Launch Party of a well known local nail polish brand, and the party's theme was Popsicles and Sweets, what I have for you guys today is the Nail Art that I wore to that Launch Party, My Popsicle Nail Art.

The nail art design was actually a last minute idea, I was suppose to sport a Lollipops and Candies nail art, but I realized that I did that design several times last year so I ended up doing Pastel Popsicles on my nails.

Here's what my Gradient base looked like before I added the popsicles and dots.

Polishes that I used for this mani are the ff;
Girl Stuff Sophia (nude)
Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet (mint green)
QT Gotta Go (Teal)
Sally Hansen Insta Dry (dots)
and for the rest, I used acrylic paints.

Here's one last pic

And that's it for today!
Hope you guys liked it!
