Chic Nail Color Summer Love Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Everyone!
TGIF! What i got for you today is another swatches and review post, featuring the latest nail polish collection from the local brand Chic(the makers of Bobbie Nail Creme), called Summer Love, it's the 4th nail polish collection from Chic Nail Color with the Kathryn Bernardo label,
To know more about the Chic Summer Love Nail Polish Collection, please continue reading after the jump ;)

First one that i have here is Chic Nail Color Jelly Bean, a gorgeous salmon pink jelly filled with a perfect amount of holographic silver micro hex glitters and gold shimmer. On my nails are three thin coats, it's quite sheer but becomes opaque after 3 thin coats, the formula is good, not too thick nor too thin, dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal. The effect of the combined jelly base and holographic glitters is amazing.

Next up, is Chic Nail Color Bubble Gum, a bright bubble gum blue creme filled with a subtle amount of shimmer, on my nails are two thin coats, quite opaque, the formula of this baby is good, not too thick nor too thin, dries to a semi glossy finish, drying time is normal. When i look at this baby, i just wanna go swimming, hehe. ;)

Third polish from the Summer Love collection is Chic Nail Color Cotton Candy, there's a lot going on with this one, it has a light rose pink base filled with tons of gold and silver shimmer, gold micro glitters, and a very subtle amount of tiny silver hex glitters. On my nails are two thin coats, TBH, when i bought this baby, i'm expecting it to be sheer, but i was surprised because it's opaque with just two thin coats, the formula is perfect, not too thick nor too thin, dries to a semi textured, semi matte finish, drying time is normal. This pretty reminds me of mermaids and beaches, perfect for summer!

Next up is Chic Nail Color Gummy Bear, a super bright lime green creme. On my nails are three thin coats, this baby is quite sheer, but build-able, the formula is quite thick, but i didn't have any issues with application, dries to a semi glossy finish drying time is normal. This gorgeous bright green reminds me of an ice cold lemonade.

Last but not the least is Chic Nail Color Lollipop, a stunning navy blue creme. On my nails are two thin coats, this one is really opaque, i can actually go with just one thick coat, but i did two for coverage, the formula is perfect! not too thick nor too thin, very smooth. dries to a glossy finish, drying time is normal. I'll definitely wear this color for a night out with my friends, or use it for a sailor inspired nail art.

And that's it!

My final thoughts about the collection:
Wow! i'll absolutely wear all of em, but of course i have some favorites from this collection, formula wise, Lollipop is my winner, cotton candy is a close second. Color wise, it's definitely Cotton Candy (reminds me of super expensive indie polishes) and Gummy Bear, a perfect lime green is hard to find ;). My overall fave is Cotton Candy! Yay! that baby is simply stunning, i might buy a second bottle.. hehe..

You can buy Chic polishes from leading dept. stores and drugstores nationwide, i got mine from the SM Store @ Php33.00 each. ;)

So that's it for today! You can tell me what you think about this post thru you comments ;)

Till' next time!

XoXo
Paula ;)
