OMG Gems Swatches and Review Part 1

Hi Everyone!
Last month, i joined a nail art contest organize by a local nail polish brand called OMG (Oh My Girl), and i ended up being in 2nd place, yay! My prize arrived 2 days ago and it includes, their 9 new colors, and 12 colors from their Gems collection, and that's what i got for you guys today..

Since i have 12 of OMG's Gems Collection and TBH i can't swatch that quantity of polish in just one sitting, i decided that i'll just do a series of swatches and review for this collection, i'm not sure of how many parts though, because i'm still on the hunt for those new OMG Gems that i don't have yet, for now i'll be showing you 4 of 'em; Peridot, Citrine, Amethyst, and Alexandrite, let's get started!
To know more about this pretties, please continue reading after the jump ;)

First up is OMG Peridot, this is a very pretty grass green, it has this jelly like base filled with fine silver glitters, on my nails are three thin coats,
Quite sheer but buildable
The formula is good, not too thick nor too thin
Drying time is normal
Dries to a gritty semi matte finish

Here's another pic of peridot

Next up is OMG Amethyst, an elegant Vampy Purple, it has a dark purple base filled with fine silver glitter, on my nails are two thins coats.
Has a good coverage, opaque in 2 thin coats
Formula is on the gooey side, but manageable
Drying time is normal
Dries to a gritty semi glossy finish

Another pretty gem that i have here is OMG Citrine is a stunning fiery red orange, a jelly like red-orange base filled with fine silver glitters, on my nails are two thin coats.
This one is pretty opaque, i can go with one coat but did two for coverage
Formula is OK
Drying time is normal
Dries to a semi-glossy sandy grainy finish

And last but not the least for this part, this gorgeous aqua blue, OMG Alexandrite, wow, this one is quite different from the first 3 that i showed you, it has a frosted blue-green base filled with fine silver glitters, on my nails are two thin coats.
This baby is quite opaque, i can go with a single coat, but did two for coverage
The formula is good too, not to thick nor too thin.
Dries faster than the first three that i showed you
Dries to a grainy matte finish

And that's it for this post!
I hope you guys liked it,

I really love this collection from OMG, i think my favorite from this batch is Alexandrite, though Peridot is a close second.

Stay tuned for the next part of my OMG Gems Swatches and Review Series ;)

Till next time!

XoXo
